The Charlie Practice Automation Platform, developed by healthfinch, aims to reduce routine, repetitive tasks like prescription refills and visit planning (also see Charlie for Visits).
Charlie’s visit planning application (previously, “Scout”) is fully integrated with athenaClinicals® to improve efficiency in your pre-visit planning process.
As an upcoming appointment is scheduled, Charlie dives in to find relevant information so that he can apply protocols and present necessary recommendations for quick execution. During the patient visit, providers are presented with the most recent and pertinent information to have a meaningful conversation at the point of care.
• Charlie presents the right data at the right time that is required for you to comply with medication protocols, Quality Measures tabs, and organization-specific metrics for upcoming appointments
• Charlie automatically identifies missing, duplicate, or outdated orders that staff can correct before a visit to ensure appropriate information is available during the patient encounter
• No long contract is required. Charlie is offered as a subscription model on a per provider, per month basis
Charlie is deeply integrated into athenaClinicals and quickly assists staff in completing pre-visit planning. It guides your team to order diagnostic tests that are required for an upcoming visit.
How it works:
As soon as an eligible upcoming visit within a predefined timeframe is detected, Charlie scouts the patient record and presents relevant information.
After he performs his checks, Charlie documents and presents actionable information in a clinical document within the athenaClinicals workflow.
Next, your staff can act on the information and update orders to meet the necessary recommendations, knowing that Charlie has teed up the right information every time.
The Charlie Practice Automation Platform is already hard at work, supporting over 5,000 providers and impacting care for more than 1,000,000 patients. Ready to put him to work for you?
