CareLynks allows patients to fill out and sign documents electronically rather than on paper. Consents, screening questionnaires, medical histories, ROS, Care Plans and demographic updates can be sent to patients prior to a visit or completed at the office. Clinical documents can be launched from the Exam and filled out/signed in the exam room. Workflows to allow for multiple signatures by both the patient and staff are supported. Documents can be filled out on a device owned by the clinic (such as a tablet) or the patient’s own device, including smartphones. Signatures can be entered using a touchscreen, Topaz signature pad or a mouse. Data and pdfs are automatically added (without indexing) to the patient’s EHR record in real time. Questionnaire (screener) responses and scores are shown in the Exam. Eliminate the need to print documents for patients, scan the (often illegible) documents into the patient’s record, index documents, manually re-enter data, and shred the paper documents when done, saving time, effort and money.
